the ctdi mission  We are dedicated to providing educational, social, and nutritional support to families in need. Our mission is to bring resources to those who require assistance, and we are committed to making a positive impact in our community.

 CONNECT THE DOTS INC., a non-profit organization committed to providing families in need with educational, social, and nutritional support. Our research-based solutions and services are designed to foster active learning through a range of strategies, including question-and-answer sessions, group discussions, interactive lectures, quick writing assignments, and experiential learning.

dr. Andrea Fields

Dr. Andrea S. Fields is an educator in the Washington DC.  She was educated in Baltimore City’s Public School System from K-12.  Dr. Fields graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School with an emphasis of Patient Care II/License Practical Nurse equivalent certification in 1997. Later that year, she went on to study at the illustrious Hampton Universitywhere so received a Bachelor’s Degree in the area of Psychology. After leaving Hampton, VA, Dr. Fields became employed in Washington DC as an Elementary School teacher. Dr. Fields love for education grew every year and knew that she wanted to do more than teach, she wanted to become a change agent. In 2007, she decided to travel to Massachusetts to continue to pursue her master’s degree from Cambridge Collegein School Leadership. She performed various jobs that impacted effective change in her learning environment, moreover, Dr. Fields continued to her journey in Education to National University, there, she received her Doctorate in 2022. Currently, Dr. Fields is a phenomenal Biology/Chemistry educator and advocate for scholars in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area for more than 20 years.  Dr. Fields established an educational, recreational and therapeutic entity for our community entitled Connect the Dots Inc. in 2024.

 

Dr. Fields is currently a High School Biology/Chemistry teacher that facilitates students’ experimental research topics which are important to society’s stability for today and beyond. STEM topics are dear and important to her because these topics are crucial for our world’s survival. Genetics, Plant Pathology, Immune system and stress, gene selection controversy(CRISPR), and evolution are just a few subjects that are introduced and researched by Dr. Fields with her students.

 

As a young child, Dr. Fields knew that she wanted to become an educator and her teachers will attest to this disciplined behavior. She was the tutor for family members, friends, and classmates while growing up. Dr. Fields always saw the best in people and would do anything in her power to help you succeed.  Dr. Andrea Fields as an educator is more involved with helping others to become their best.  She provides selfless hours help better families, students, and colleagues.
